Overview | Scope of Work

The former Police Station is located in the historic western bank of Shanghai in the cultural heart of the city. The building facade is comprised of brick and concrete which is steps back from the pedestrian walkway. The architect’s design focused on repurposing the building as a high end retail environment with high visibility. The building now features custom narrow sightline steel storefronts, entrances and extends seamlessly to integrate glass handrails across the terraces.

We collaborated with the architect we detailed the waterproofing details at the storefront and terraces, developed the narrow sightline storefront and handrail details and entrances. We conducted site reviews for compliance with the design intent.
