UNIQLO Flagship Store
Overview | Scope of Work
The existing building was a vacant office building perched on top of a busy subway station on a prime retail street in Shanghai. The client sought to repurpose the building into a six level flagship store with a unique façade that would support the branding. Our firm assessed and tested the existing façade to determine the structural and performance levels. This allowed the original façade to remain as the weathering envelope and we in concert with the architect designed the new branded facades, six story display atrium, showcase oversized pivot doors and faceted subway tunnel.
