We are to our core façade specialists, building scientists, façade architects, façade engineers, industrial designers, material innovators, façade construction specialists all supported by a staff of jacks of all trades. Our focus is to help our diverse range of clients (and typically stakeholders in the buildings) determine problems that may emanate from the façade elements of their buildings that have impacted the performance and aesthetics of their buildings. Since our founding in 1997 we have assisted building owners, assets managers, associations, architects and engineers solve the often complex issues related to building enclosures and façade elements falling short of performance and aesthetic expectations. We have had the privilege to serve clients in 20+ countries around the world to ensure their best interests are at the forefront of our mission that their building enclosures and façade elements serve their buildings and occupants well.
WHAT WE DO
We are the firm you call when your building envelope and/or façade elements are not performing or aesthetically degrading contrary to your expectations or parameters that were stipulated in representations by contractors and suppliers. We listen to you in detail, assess the building envelope and/or façade elements using our innovative technologies and generate viable solutions. We deploy our façade professionals to manage the process of remediation by developing a budget, soliciting pricing based on concise remediation drawings and documents. Once the trade work is vetted we manage the remediation on your behalf ensuring that the work is completed and then we conduct tests per our published requirements. All of the contractor’s work will be subject to the stipulated warranty. The as-built documents are archived with us as well as a digital and hard copy that stay with your project for easy reference.
Adaptive Technologies
A principal tenet of our firm is that facade materials and systems can utilize adaptive technologies from industries beyond the conventional facade solutions. Our research of breakthrough technologies of aerospace, automobile, electronics and many others often leads us to unique facade applications that would not otherwise be considered. Several examples include the use of light-weight high yield composites, sensory coatings and variable hydraulic metal forming to create highly complex planes, comfortable surfaces and curvilinear facade elements. Often these adaptive technologies open up options for new facade aesthetics, performance and long term durability.
Global Reach
Since our founding in the United States in 1997 we supported clients in 20+ countries in North America, Europe, East Asia, South Asia, Oceania and the Middle East. Regardless of the location of the project each project is staffed with the most qualified staff members to ensure a successful outcome for our clients.
Given the global reach of both architects and building owners our footprint bridges distance and culture resulting by providing façade forensics and viable solutions for all stakeholders.
